Selling Products ReadMe

This Read Me files aims to explain how you actually start selling your products.

It is assumed that,
1. You have installed MCP on your site
2. That you have atleast 1 product in the "Product Menu" of admin.pl
3. That you have setup a members area and password protected it

Step

1. Goto the admin.pl in your bowser and login. Once logged in Select the "Generate HTML needed to sell your products".

   
   
   
2. Select the product you want to start selling and press "Generate HTML".
   By checking the "demo" box, it will enable demo mode, where no card is charged. Use this only to test, once finished testing regenerate the html and disable Demo mode.
   
   
   
   
3. Copy the generate HTML (Highlight and go "File -> Copy")
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. The code generated, is the "Buy Button" code. Place this code on the page(s) you want your buy button on. You should normally only ever have the buy button page OUTSIDE the members area.
   
   
   
   
   
5. If you have turned Demo Mode on, then do a test purchase and make sure it all works. Otherwise you are all set to go! Now visitors can pay and then signup.
   
   REMEMBER: If you have Demo Mode on, you must regenerate the HTML to turn it off. Turn it off Before going live.

FAQ

Q. I am using PayPal -Recurring Billing and step 2 screen is different. What do I do?

A. This is normal. PayPal reqires more info so it justs asks you for it. Its the exact same after that, highlight and then copy and paste to your pages(s).

Q. I am getting an error message saying "Not able to verify, you will have to contact the admin...", whats wrong?
